Happy Wedding Anniversary

It's our 2nd wedding anniversary today!

the same day, two years back was a hectic day for us even though we started our solemnization at 4pm followed by wedding dinner that ended 1 am.

And today? A relax day, packing all my unopened emails and wow! so many birthday vouchers and discounts. How will one finish using them unless I celebrate my birthday every single day, 2 meals and a treatment a day, till the actual birth-day.

Well... NOTHING special this year cos he is sold to his company for bootcamp. So folks who are attending the bootcamp 3 today, should feel privileged as the bootcamp is far important than his own wedding anniversary. :p

Two years.. a life transformation.. from wedding gown to preggie and now...

yes! it's all about Reytto, Reytto and Reytto.

12 month review of Reytto

Reytto's BIG ONE birthday is coming soon in 6 days times..

Goodness' this just happened in the blink of eyes. He was a tiny mustard seed in my womb yesterday and today, he's 75cm tall, walking few steps (unassisted), pronouncing papa,mama, mum-mum, ahhhhhhhh (whenever he want something).. and the cheeky him, love to throw thing on the floor,from his baby cot.. he simply love watching object falling off. I almost faint when my remote controller started to spoil one by one..

From the weekly gym and swimming classes, he had cultivated a confidence self. A little fall means nothing to him. Our early morning is always greeted by his gym work on our bed. Both daddy and mummy, the pillows, baby cot are his obstacles climbing. He will throw any boxes from my tv console to act as his step, to assist him higher to reach for things that he couldnt possible reach for his height! How smart he is!

Water is his favorite. Splashing, kicking, playing with his water toys, you name it, he loves it.

Nowadays he try his luck staying in water longer by simply refused to get OUT of his bathing tub or scream.. Too bad, he is dealing with a bo-chap mummy, who will just carried him out and dry him. Well.. at least he is afterall not that cranky, crying non-stop. He wailed a little and stop when he change his focus to something else. :-)

Oh.. Babytv.com is still his favorite. This will shut him up, keep him still. So we got the series played in our car, else our poor maid going to get giddy very soon, following him "walking" to and fro our new Grand Voyage. (This giant is our latest addition, and my whole family love it. it is so spacious that Yvette chose her single seat, to lie down or Reytto can walk up and down the back seat. Daddy love the smooth drive, Mummy love the huge boot space for reytto's three-wheeler pram).

Time's up! Preparation work begins now...

My Little Black Elephant

Today, I decided to dedicate this blog space to my long time toy -

MG TF also known as Little Black Elephant (to me!).

It is my 1st car, our wedding car, and is still my beloved now. I used to spent most of my outings with him, but lately with Baby Reytto, I have to exchange it with my hubby's Jaguar.. but now.. he will soon be casted aside because my hubby got his new love..

LBE played a big role on our wedding day..

Following him are our 15 convoy.... it was rowdy business when they arrived my parent place to "pick" me.. Thinking back, those gate-crashing activities had really roused the Macpherson neighboorhood.. (thank you bro and sis for all your spontaneous spirit!)

This baby is very well taken care. Shower and polished weekly (my hubby is a car freak.. a little bit of dent is No-No to him. That's why our babies are always in and out of workshop for minor minor problem). We sent him in again for thoroughly make-over two week ago..

Unfortunately, there were some morons in our condo going around vandalizing convertible.

LBE was the 5th victim last week,

two days after I got him out from workshop after servicing, and now.....

he is back inside workshop, getting surgical done

Poor baby, I miss you!

We have made police report and hopefully this moron or morons are caught very soon!

Happy Children Day - 1st Oct 2009

It's Baby Reytto's first children day.

Mummy was invited to Great Eastern Children day Party @ Downtown east...

It was a gloomy day for baby reytto, as usual, insufficient beauty sleep. But he was so well behaved. He just sat down quietly in his "ferrari" enjoying the show put up by Broadway kids, eat his breakfast cereal, participating in every activities that he can.

Baby Reytto had his 1st face painting... Look at my kitten.. Meows!

The moment Baby Reytto saw Le0- the mascot, he went hiding his head with fear!

" Life Is Great" was the most shouted tag line by the children..

Happy 10th month, Baby Reytto

What a way to celebrate 10th month old in Mount Alvernia Hospital..

Baby Reytto had his 1st minor surgery - Releasing of Tongue Tied.

What exactly is Tongue Tied?

A tongue tie is a membrane that extends from the underside of the tongue, in the middle, to the bottom of the inside of the mouth. It is common as 1 in 20 babies has it. Many tongue ties are minor and do not require treatment. However a tongue tie that is interfering with breast feeding may require assessment with a view to possible treatment (frenotomy). Some bottle fed babies will also benefit from tongue tie release.

Sometimes mothers will experience painful feeding, grazing or damage to the areola or nipple, or even mastitis. Babies may latch on poorly, require several attempts to latch and become frustrated. They may make a clicking noise when feeding. Feeding may be prolonged, and the baby may still be hungry and be irritable, or be ready to feed again within an hour or two.

For Reytto's case, it is the membrane is very close to the tip of tongue, thus, it might affect his food intake, breast feeeding, and speech later. It was detected when he was born, but our pediatrician told us not to rush for surgery. Thus, we dragged till today.

The 1st day after surgery was not a smooth one. Baby Reytto refused to bottle feeding, we guess it's due to the pain killer effect was gone, causing him pain. I tried spoon feeding, and Baby Reytto is taking well and more.

We are glad that we had this surgery done.. Baby Reytto is eating more, sleeping better, more playful and talking more clearly. Few more days to go, and we can be back on our snacking biscuits, etc... :-)

For a long time, i never approve baby and fury pets play together..

but... somehow.. unknowingly, these two little ones get together...

One wanted to be touched, the other cant wait to touch that fury little one.

nearer, and nearer.. wanting baby Reytto to stroke, sayang her...

Ever since then, Chockley never stay near Baby Reytto anymore.

But mischievous Chockley still "steal" kisses from Reytto occasionally,

then she disappear very quickly.

Wooohoooo!!! My hubby bought me a new Canon G10 camera.

I feel that the outlook kinda kuku, but the functions are more practicability to my usage.

We toyed around the shop for more than 2 hours, just couldn't decide SLR or simple digital camera, (sighs! I am a typical woman buyer afterall!). I am glad that the salesman is very patience, honest (very important!!) with us - explained, compared and recommend one that suits our usage even though he know if we get this model, we will be back only be back for SLR after much longer time.

Not very well done though, hope we can master this complicated yet easier than SLR camera soon. : -)

LIttle Gym Works

Thank you, Gin and Baby Jonathan for inviting us to Little Gym work.

We, yes! WE, the babies and parents have had a great fun afternoon, working out.. It's a small group of 8 doing all the gym works from stretching, crawling, working out on the gears, it's no wonder all of us were tired out after 45 mins of fun workout.

Reytto has been progressing quite fast at the rate of a 7 month old baby with little swimming coaching. He loves water so much that he can stay in the pool for 30 mins or so, day or night.

Happy 5 month old, Baby Reytto

This lifelong marathon reaches his 5th month. 

What an awesome month we have experience with baby Reytto. 

5 solid month, meaning we are very custom to his cries, his sleeping and feeding routine (or no routine at all?!), his chuckles, his every morning adorable cheeky yet so dear face as if greeting us a BIG GOOD MORNING. 

What's the progress? Baby Reytto is

• Very steady in his sitting position now.  
  
• Found his new skill - mouth. He can too make amazing sounds, action, boo boo "raspbery" bubble mix with saliva
• Less of those silent bo-gay (no teeth) smile, but loud chuckles
• Much more happier baby, less grumpy (though still does if he is thirsty, hungry, sleepy)
• Enjoy playing with anyone, Very sociable baby
• Great motor skill
• Trying to roll 
• Lesser fear of lying on his chest
• Found his 2nd best skill - using his little feet gripping toys, and my arm. (sound like those gong fu style - scissor leg. (hahah!)
• Into his learning program, and enjoys all the big flash Glen Doman card. 
• Into Postive Infant program and he love it!  

Oh .. did i mention that Baby Reytto can sit upright now?
