Reytto has upgraded to Adult Pool

No more "tub" swimming for Reytto. 

We decided to introduce this "big ocean" to him since he is not afraid of water. 

This happy babe is sure enjoying his kickings, floating, and cooling familiar environment.

Happy 5 month old, Baby Reytto

This lifelong marathon reaches his 5th month. 

What an awesome month we have experience with baby Reytto. 

5 solid month, meaning we are very custom to his cries, his sleeping and feeding routine (or no routine at all?!), his chuckles, his every morning adorable cheeky yet so dear face as if greeting us a BIG GOOD MORNING. 

What's the progress? Baby Reytto is

• Very steady in his sitting position now.  
  
• Found his new skill - mouth. He can too make amazing sounds, action, boo boo "raspbery" bubble mix with saliva
• Less of those silent bo-gay (no teeth) smile, but loud chuckles
• Much more happier baby, less grumpy (though still does if he is thirsty, hungry, sleepy)
• Enjoy playing with anyone, Very sociable baby
• Great motor skill
• Trying to roll 
• Lesser fear of lying on his chest
• Found his 2nd best skill - using his little feet gripping toys, and my arm. (sound like those gong fu style - scissor leg. (hahah!)
• Into his learning program, and enjoys all the big flash Glen Doman card. 
• Into Postive Infant program and he love it!  

Oh .. did i mention that Baby Reytto can sit upright now?

Doctor's day

It's doctor day ?! No.. not Baby reytto see doctor. It's Jie Jie Yvette and my parent-in-law seeing all different doctors at the same building.

Baby Reytto's hair just growing slowing.. but his laughter never stop laughing.

Grandma is happy whenever Baby Reytto smile at her. -)

Happy 4th Month, Reytto

Blink! Blink!  We are into 4th month of the baby world?!  

Sometimes, I am really amazed with myself - once and still an impatience mum is still running this "baby marathon" steadily.  Perhaps that is mum's instinct to hang on those 3 hourly feed, irregular sleep at night, stamina to express milk, endurance with all these baby cries, etc, etc.... But when I see his smile, everything is worth it. 

So what's up with our little reytto? 

• He giggles his loudest this morning when i merely tickled him. 
• Sucking his own fingers and sometimes his whole hands. (wonder if it's tasty?!)  
• Chuckles soundlessly with the slightest tickles or play.
• Using his eye power to communicate with mummy.
• He loves sleeping on our adult pillow, especially daddy's. 
• He kicks mummy every night.
• He still scream his loudest if he get too hungry or bloated tummy.
• Oh... he loves to "talk", and want us to talk to him as well..  how much we understand each other?!  Yet, we still go eee, eee, ahh ahh..     his favorite word is parrot imitation "hello". 
• He watch soccer and screamed with daddy when Liverpool scored...

5th Swimming session

The most enjoyment activity now is to laze around playing and shopping with baby Reytto whenever I can.  Even though we are mostly doing window shopping, it's a joy when I see him curiously exploring things, sounds, peoples, etc or start eee, eee, ah, ah.. during our trip.

 

Today, we decided to go for swimming and massaging session. 

The moment baby Reytto was put into the water, he started to kick vigorously. 

Did you notice his new swimming trunk? 

 

Body massage is not only for adult, even baby love it!  

4th Swimming Session

Ohhh... that's not our baby reytto! 

Who cares about the neighbouring baby crying, wrestling with his parent into the water? 

Baby Reytto sure know how to relax himself and enjoy the warm "pool". 

This is our 4th visit, and we notice many older kids screamed, struggled, and fear when they are put into the water while the younger ones, like Reytto, wail a little, then enjoy their swim. That's the reason why I decided to send Reytto to "swim" as young as 14 days.

 Afterall, mummy womb? swimming pool? mummy womb? swimming pool? 

They are all the same to little baby.

After swimming, it's a routine for milk session, or else............

Baby Reytto had his 1st studio shooting on his 46th day.

Perhaps the studio is too cold for him, he cried non-stop. 

But photographer, Maryann still able to capture some of these nice shots!

Confinement period finally over! 

Baby and I were well taken care by Aunty Miao Qing during this period. 

At least, I have peaceful sleep through the night and eat healthy.

Reytto Full month Party - 25th December 2008

     Baby Reytto is FULL MONTH today! 

 

Baby Reytto was behaving well. No massive scream during shower. Mummy trimmed his sharp fingernail, then put on his new Armani Infant Romper. ooohhh.. handsome little boy! :-)

For those who missed this fabulous full month party! Here's the update...

Our original plan is to have a small intimate party, but somehow we ended up a huge xmas cum full month party!

   

Mummy banned the usual party chinese food, bbq food or even the typical catering stuff 

(Guess our usual gathering kakis also tired of the same old food! :P) So for a change, she got an impressive array of xmas menu that includes turkey, ham, salmon,etc....  

We also had delicious pastry from Pine Garden.  Our confinement aunty whipped up delicious fried bee hoon that was snapped up within seconds!!  

 

Aunty Emily also came with her homemade yummy turkey stuff with glutinous rice!

 Ironically, it's baby reytto full month, yet the photographer did not snapped lots of pictures of baby reytto but on food and set-up. :-(  

Nevertheless, baby reytto was the star of the day, passing around from arm to arm. 

Our party never failed without Sake... 

Our "beverage butler", Martin was great helper too! Not only the guest drink, he drank with them anything from sake to wine! Great Job, Martin! :-)

Daddy surprised Mummy with a two-tie birthday cake!

25th Dec also Sis Janet's birthday.. so it's triple blessings! 

 

      

 

And the favor of the cake?  Lychee Martini and Black Forest!  It's irresistible! 

All of us have great fun, laughters, yummy food and drink. 

 

 We also prepare a small Red Egg set for all the guests to bring home. 

(Feedback from the guest, the texture of mochi was QQ.. Ang Ku Kueh was good, package was great and the little profile card solve all the "why,when, where questions) 

 

Lastly, we thanks all our families and friends for the love gifts, presents and most of all sharing this another great moments of joys with us.  Thank you!
