Reytto Full month Party - 25th December 2008

Baby Reytto is FULL MONTH today!

Baby Reytto was behaving well. No massive scream during shower. Mummy trimmed his sharp fingernail, then put on his new Armani Infant Romper. ooohhh.. handsome little boy! :-)

For those who missed this fabulous full month party! Here's the update...

Our original plan is to have a small intimate party, but somehow we ended up a huge xmas cum full month party!

Mummy banned the usual party chinese food, bbq food or even the typical catering stuff
(Guess our usual gathering kakis also tired of the same old food! :P) So for a change, she got an impressive array of xmas menu that includes turkey, ham, salmon,etc....
We also had delicious pastry from Pine Garden.  Our confinement aunty whipped up delicious fried bee hoon that was snapped up within seconds!!

Aunty Emily also came with her homemade yummy turkey stuff with glutinous rice!
Thanks Emily!

Ironically, it's baby reytto full month, yet the photographer did not snapped lots of pictures of baby reytto but on food and set-up. :-(
Nevertheless, baby reytto was the star of the day, passing around from arm to arm.

Our party never failed without Sake...

Our "beverage butler", Martin was great helper too! Not only the guest drink, he drank with them anything from sake to wine! Great Job, Martin! :-)

Happy Birthday to me!!
Daddy surprised Mummy with a two-tie birthday cake!

25th Dec also Sis Janet's birthday.. so it's triple blessings!

And the favor of the cake?  Lychee Martini and Black Forest!  It's irresistible!

All of us have great fun, laughters, yummy food and drink.

We also prepare a small Red Egg set for all the guests to bring home.
(Feedback from the guest, the texture of mochi was QQ.. Ang Ku Kueh was good, package was great and the little profile card solve all the "why, when, where questions)

Lastly, we thanks all our families and friends for the love gifts, presents and most of all sharing this another great moments of joys with us.  Thank you!

1st swimming lesson

Baby are born swimmer.
Indeed. Afterall they are the "champion swimmer" since day 1.
Reytto had his 1st swim when he is 15 DAY old.

He had some fear initially, but less than few seconds, his natural reflex started to send signal for his tiny legs to paddle in the water. However, very soon, hunger baffled his enjoyment...
Well, we look forward to move groovy moves next lesson with well fed stomach!

Little handprint

1st month at home

The feeling of inside and outside Mummy's womb is completely different.
I started to see lights that glare my eyes at times.
I can match faces to those familiar voices I hear inside mummy's womb.
I drink milk on demand, and sleep whenever I like.

1st Continental "Car"

Thanks to Uncle Jeff for this beautiful, stylish three wheeler Quinny sportcar..
It's definitely better than mummy's MG -
No COE, No petrol needed, No Road tax, No Insurance. (Heee!!)
Daddy said I am such a lucky baby to own 1 Black Maserati and 1 Red Ferarri.
So.. No more car till I am much older (heee.. he's getting me a porsche *wink*wink*

Birth Experience of Yong Reytto Zavier

'Childbirth is one of the most beautiful gift God could bestow upon a woman. The uniqueness tat differentiates her from a man.. the pinnacles of love or even divine intervention..'
After daddy going through anxiety and sleepless night since 23rd November 2008, stubborn mummy finally made our way to Thomson Medical Center delivery suite on 25th November 2008, 9.05am.

The birth choronological account of our little prince was traumatic. Daddy mentally "distressed", Mummy physically "wounded" while baby struggling like mad inside mummy's womb at the final lapse.

Gosh!! A good 25 hours later, baby Reytto made his grand entry to see this beautiful yet complex world.

The unexplained joy automatically fell on us upon seeing this little tender dude.

Our four days stay at Thomson Medical Premier Ward was "heavenly" with full privacy. Whatever a daddy and mummy ought to know or to troubleshoot, the attentive nurses did their best to teach us. We even have in-room candle light dinner. Sound "lomantic" eh?
Thanks to all staff and nurses at the premier ward. You gals really made us feel at home during our stay, except the food. hee!!

Special thanks to our gynea, Dr W.H Kee. You are great!

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciate to our families and friends (you know who you are!! Too long a list! *wink*) for your gifts, constant supports and helps during this "handicapped" period.

Waiting for that moment..

Counting down to EDD date.... many asked how do i feel.. honestly.. not much of excitment or scary feeling.. cos I am so busy with many new changes at home. Guess more stress and tiredness than wedding preparation. All of sudden, i feel I am back to my super woman days but a fat, clumsy "superwoman". haha!!

Well, at least most stuff are done, except baby's room. This little one has soooooo many things to get and more to come. Thanks god we manage to shift to a bigger space to contain "his" items. :-)
